Shires Ladies Prove they Are As Keen As Mustard!

Shires members, Nicola and Fiona, raced in the hot June weather to complete the As Keen As Mustard's Nene Park SwimRun in Peterborough

Taking part in this race, they ran approximately 17km of trail running and then 4km of swimming both up and downstream.  The event is made up of 10 run legs and then 9 swims with some of the swim entry and exit points proving to be really challenging.  They had to clamber up cargo nets, ropes, and muddy river banks.

Final times to be confirmed but if they had run as a team, they would have taken the top spot in female pairs!
