This event takes place in the Lake District over a 2-day period whereby participants navigate around the fells picking up points at various locations. You can make it hard or easy as you like as most points will be gainede going higher, further and afaster!
Husband and wife team, Verna and Michael took part, they decided to take it easy on the Saturday but on the Sunday worked much harder and made it with only 5 minutes to spare. This meant. a hard run down from Easedale Tarn into Grasmere. They ran 10-12 miles each day with around 800/900m ascent.
The event is really social and the OMM folk put on a mini festival with talks, catering ,sports gear retail.
Overall they were mid placed and did much better in the Vet and Mixed categories.
